Clinical nursing PICO question and evidence-based practice

In this assignment, you will use the previously approved clinical PICO question and 3 research studies to create a 5-minute scholarly video presentation. A total of 5 scholarly peer-reviewed sources dated within the past 5 years is required for this assignment. In addition to the 3 previously approved research studies, find 2 new scholarly sources to support the justification and evidence-based practice model sections. Before you complete this presentation, apply all faculty feedback from the previous course assignments. To complete this assignment: Use ScreenPal to record your video and slides as a screencast video presentation. Review the ScreenPal Setup and Getting Started guide for more information on recording, editing, and publishing a ScreenPal video. Note: Galen College of Nursing offers students access to premium ScreenPal accounts for their video creation needs in assignments and presentations. You may use your preferred software to create the slides. Your presentation should be organized, attractive, creative, and professional. Be mindful of your attire, background, language, and possible distractions from family, phones, and pets. Use contrasting font and background colors and appropriate font sizes to enhance readability. Use short, bulleted points and limit the use of large number of texts. Use smart art, graphics, and images when appropriate which should be cited. Note that this is a screencast video presentation, and you are required to be on camera recording yourself while presenting your slides on screen. You will need access to a portable or built-in computer camera and microphone. Be sure to have adequate light in front of your face and be mindful of your video and audio quality. Do not read from your notes or slides. Prepare by completing each slide beforehand, write notes to use as speaking points or a script, study the material, and rehearse for time management before you record. For a professional-looking video, record the slides you present and not your entire screen. In your 5-minute screencast video presentation (on camera recording your screen), create the following 9 slides (including title and references): 1. Briefly share your personal connection to the topic. 3. Justification: Briefly explain one reason why the topic should be investigated supported by data. Include the connection to promoting the best patient outcomes. Provide evidence to support your justification. 4. Evidence-Based Practice Model: Select one evidence-based practice model and: Identify and describe the evidence-based practice model. Provide evidence to support the use of the evidence-based practice model. Identify one key stakeholder and explain the role of the stakeholder in your proposed project. 5. Summary of Evidence: Create an evidence table on a single slide to summarize the 3 approved research articles by using the table shown below. For each study, verbally explain/present the design, purpose, sample, methods, findings, and how the study’s findings relate to your PICO question. Analysis of Evidence: With the use of supportive evidence from the 3 research studies, provide an analysis of the data by verbally explaining/presenting: What two patterns in the combined data can you identify? (Consider the sample and its size, study methods, and whether it is appropriate to test the data, similarities/differences in the findings/concepts/themes). What is one strength of the combined data and why? What is one limitation of the combined data and why? 7. Recommendation for Practice: Based on the data and study findings, briefly discuss two recommendations for enhancing clinical practice/patient outcomes with the use of supportive evidence from the studies. 8. Conclusions: Briefly explain how the evidence you found supported your clinical question with rationale. Support the rationale with evidence from the 3 studies. 9. References: Formatted in APA style to include all 5 scholarly sources used to complete the presentation (include slide in your video but you do not need to narrate the references slide). Include in-text citations throughout the presentation to credit your sources. Submission Submit your screencast video by uploading a video/media file or ScreenPal shareable link (URL) to the Canvas assignment Dropbox. If you choose to submit your video as a video/media file, you will need to take the following steps: Confirm that your video file is less than 500 MB.
