The Research Assignment:
This assignment is designed to support the information required to be
successful on the FCLE (Florida Civic Literacy Exam) while also serving to
satisfy the Gordon Rule requirement.
Answer the following questions in paragraph form (not just simple one-word
answers, answer in complete sentences.) You are not writing a research
paper. The format is simple: question, answer, footnote and at the end of
all the questions the bibliography. Each of your answers must be cited
using a footnote in Chicago format from the source of the information in
your answer. There should not be any quotations in your answers. You should
be summarizing and/or paraphrasing the information in your sources in your
own words to compose your answers. You will also need a bibliography at the
end of your assignment in Chicago format listing all the sources used to
answer the questions.
