The assignment is about the battle, I have to talk about 2 different topics that happened at the battle of Gettysburg. After you review the source material and have a fairly good idea of what took place at the Battle of Gettysburg you may want to divide the following important landmarks at the Battle of Gettysburg between each class member for research and presentation. Culp’s Hill Cemetery Ridge Cemetery Hill Big and Little Round Top The Soldier’s National Monument/Site of Gettysburg Address Devil’s den The Field of Pickett’s Charge The High Water Mark of the Confederacy The Gettysburg Address Each student will be responsible for making a presentation about the historical significance and role that their landmark played in the Battle of Gettysburg. I would suggest a PowerPoint and/or video with information about the people, topography, strategic importance and historic significance of your site and how it fits with the other sites. Your presentation should also include maps of your site’s location in relation to the other sites in the battle. Along with your PowerPoint you need to have a minimum of two typed double spaced pages of your presentation which you will hand in to the professor prior to your presentation. Those 2 topics, each two pages, please make sure to cite a lot in the text and try to have a very basic English since its a group presentation
