​​ ARTICLE REVIEWS & CRITIQUE Each student will complete five (5) article review & critiques intended to increase your awareness of diagnosis and/or treatment of specific mental disorders or diagnosis of mental disorders with a specific population (i.e. diagnosis with children adults, etc.). For each article, write a brief synopsis that includes the article’s focus or purpose, any research findings, and/or authors’ conclusion. Following your article synopsis and brief discussion: Describe what you have learned about diagnosis research as a result of conducting this review. What are the implications of this research for your future professional work? How might you incorporate the article’s ideas into your professional practice and why? Critiques should demonstrate your critical thinking skills and address all of the above to receive full points. Papers should be typed, double-spaced, 1 inch margins, use APA style (refer to APA manual, 6th edition) and appropriate language, and include title and reference pages. Each article critique should be two (2) complete pages per article and in APA format. I have one article completed already so I would need four more in the area of Schizophrenia for example: Schizophrenia in children, Schizophrenia in the aged or Schizophrenia in African Americans or Latinos, ETC The article that I have completed already is titled: Diagnosis, Treatment Options and Costs of Schizophrenia
