You will choose one of these approaches for your final op-ed. For example, you may be writing about a Lummi tribal perspective, Aldo Leopold's land ethic, Christopher Stone's arguments for assigning legal standing to nature, or something else. At this stage, you should write about a few different ethical perspectives on your chosen topic. For the final op-ed/open letter, you will choose one you find to be the most convincing. Part 1: Issue Brief *Instructions:* Your issue brief should include the following three sections and respond to the questions included in each section. Write approximately one to two paragraphs per section;this means the issue brief should be approximately 750 words in total. Please label each section.
